109 - Stan's The Man In Snowy Stoke

On Saturday night, Cherries weren’t exactly vintage. A change of formation, two personnel changes, and a familiar frustration for large parts of the game. But Junior Stanislas came good when needed. In this podcast Sam Davis, Neil Dawson, Jeff Hayward and Tom Jordan dissect our performance at the Bet 365 Stadium. Stoke were good at stifling the attacks, whilst not producing a lot of their own. But that said, it felt like they had the majority of the chances in the first half albeit not the clearest. Boscombe had the best opportunity of the second half though… and they took it. Cook fed Junior, and whilst he didn’t have the best of games, he certainly does possess the ice-cold mentality that is required in those situations.  We also have a mid-term review of the Championship's runners and riders with Daniel Storey (BBC, Totally Football Pod, PL and Forest fan) - and Nancy Frostick (Sheffield Wednesday reporter for The Athletic and the i Paper) - the full audio of which you can see on Youtube.  Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms. 108 - Goalless and Soulless

It was a tough watch at Kenilworth Road on Saturday as Cherries came away with a point from a very well oiled Luton Town side. Cherries looked leggy today against a determined and well drilled Hatters team, and throughout the the game, there was nothing to suggest that the stalemate would ever be broken, and with JT's side looking worn - the game ended in a draw. It was poor to watch, and the lack of composure in the final third was all to prevalent - we got in good positions, but couldn’t convert. What better time then, for a podcast to talk about it?!  So, in the final Back of the Net of the year, we hear the opinions of Morgan Scott, Kirk Tovey, and Cherries fan Dom - plus we take in the thoughts of Tom Jordan, who rates the players for the Bedfordshire bore-draw. Finally, we just wanted to wish a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our followers and subscribers. It has been such a strange and testing year, but we just wanted to say thanks for all your support.  Despite the isolation, we've really enjoyed the community buzz during the lockdowns, and whilst it has been great to talk to some Cherries greats, chatting regularly to fellow AFC Bournemouth fans has been more of a privilege. We're taking a break until the start of January, The last audio pod of 2020 is out tomorrow, and whilst there will be isolated content posted on the Youtube channel, the Free-For-All's will return in 2021. The next pod is out on January 4th. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our ...

107 - Supporters, Sublime Strikes and Sixteen Year Olds

Boscombe were rampant against the Terriers on Saturday in a five star performance in front of over 1,000 ecstatic Cherries at the Vitality Stadium in a convincing win over Huddersfield, and in this podcast, we wax lyrical about our five-star performance with the help of Jeff Hayward, Sam Davis, and Tom Jordan. Whilst Jeff and Sam were at home, JT was in the stadium, and it's fair to say he was buzzing. If we wanted the perfect performance to greet the return of fans at Dean Court, that was it.  We’ve always known that the home fans can make a difference at home, and the boost that it provided the players in red and black was more than evident against a Huddersfield side that barely looked at threat. We take you through Tom's day at Dean Court with raw audio footage, and input from Kirk Tovey and Paul Kenward too! Plus, as ever, a chronological look through the game in the finest detail possible! 106 - Watch Us Wreck The Tykes - Psyche!

In a climate where we all need escapism, some will watch Ant and Dec dishing out kangaroo testicles, but us Bournemouth fans favour the bollockings that JT's provides - as, after the home defeat to Preston on Tuesday, Tindall laid down a dingo-dollar challenge to his Cherry charges, which resulted in a dreamy 4 star haul away at Barnsley on Friday night, a supreme victory that ensured we went into the weekend crowned Kings of the Championship. In this podcast, Sam Davis and Jeff Hayward unravel the 4-0 win at Oakwell, a performance where Philip Billing and Sam Surridge excelled, giving the gaffa plenty of headaches ahead of Tuesday's clash with promotion rivals Swansea City. Charlie Starks also made his debut on Back of the Net this weekend, as he joined Tom Jordan to give his ratings on all the Cherries players that graced the pitch on Friday night, so we provide a taster of the kind of remarks the AFCB side gained based on our tonking of the Tykes. Plus, ahead of a Sunday night screening on our Youtube channel, we provide a taster of our interview with Josh McQuoid and Matt Tubbs - both born in the South, both 5 foot 9, and both have played for Cherries in the naughties and 2010’s. They tell us about their frustrations, regrets, their loan spells - but also, their deep affection for AFC Bournemouth. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms. 105 - Cherries Claw Rovram Draw

Start spreading the news... we won't always win every game we play, but at the New York Stadium on Saturday, you can't help but feel as though we were the architects of our own demise! Rotherham were strong, physical, and got in our faces early doors - an obvious tactic which is often used to negate footballing sides. Niggles aside though - the home side gave us a lesson in quality wide delivery, and a 2-2 draw probably was a fair result. In this podcast, Sam Davis, Tom Jordan, Mr Tigz and Neil Dawson discuss events in South Yorkshire, plus we look forward to the visit of Preston on Tuesday, the start of a month which sees eight fixtures - and a period of time which could ultimately determine our fate this season. We also catch up with the latest activity with the Cherries Academy in Uganda, who finally have some kits that have been sent across. Fantastic to see them all sporting their AFCB gear, but.. there is more that we still want to do! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms.
